Description
When adding new datasets, people should follow the contribution guide in the documentation. We should track powerplant improvement like @Tomkourou did here: https://github.com/PyPSA/powerplantmatching/pull/110#issuecomment-1521856190

Research direction
Start with the contribution guide section on integrating new data sources, linked in the issue, and review the tracking example in pull request #110's comment. Define and add the requested section so contributors know how to track powerplant improvements when adding datasets; the documentation should make that process clear.
