Description

Hello, and thanks for maintaining PyPSA-China. I would like to use two files in an academic research project: resources/data/load/Hourly_demand_of_31_province_China_modified_V2.1.csv and resources/data/load/Provincial_Load_2020_2060_MWh.csv. docs/data.md lists sources for land cover, GADM, nature reserves, GEBCO, GEM, WorldPop and EV charging, but I could not find an entry for these two load files. Could you please clarify: (1) the underlying data source, and which base year the 8760-hour profile represents; (2) how it was processed, i.e. what "modified V2.1" refers to; (3) the licence that applies to these files and how you would like them cited; (4) whether the README's request to contact you before publication applies to this data. Thanks very much for your help.

Research direction

Start with docs/data.md, the README, and the two CSV files under resources/data/load/. Determine the source, base year, processing meaning, licence, citation guidance, and publication-contact policy, then document the confirmed details; done means both files are covered consistently.
