Description

If I understand correctly the exact layout is not required anymore for defining PyTypeInfo.

Would it be possible to have an import_class! macro similar to import_exception!?

Research direction

Start by reading the existing import_exception! macro and the PyTypeInfo definition and layout discussed in the issue. Determine the required shape for an analogous import_class! macro, then confirm that the proposed macro can import Python classes without relying on the exact layout that is no longer required.
