Description
This means that specifying a project that forbids E226 but allows W503 is really tedious :). I hope I'm just missing something, but --select=W,E --ignore=W503 results in exactly the same behavior as just --select=W,E.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the documented command-line case with --select=W,E and --ignore=W503, then trace the option-handling entry point that processes these arguments. Done means the selected checks still run while W503 is excluded, with regression coverage for this combination.
