Description

Description

Proxyman currently lacks support for modifying WebSocket messages via breakpoints or scripting. Adding this feature would improve debugging, testing, and security analysis for WebSocket-based applications.

Proposed Features:

  1. Breakpoints for WebSocket messages – Pause, inspect, and modify messages before they are processed.
  2. Scripting support – Allow automatic modification of WebSocket traffic via JavaScript

Why this feature/change is important?

  • Currently, Proxyman supports HTTP(S) breakpoints and scripting, but WebSocket traffic remains unmodifiable.
  • Developers and testers need real-time message interception to debug WebSocket-based apps effectively.
