Description

Description

I recently updated proxyman from 5.5.0 to 5.6.1 and it can no longer decrypt any of my App's HTTP requests/responses. I reinstalled all the certificates, restarted everything a couple of times and nothing worked. Rolling the app back to 5.5.0 has fixed this issue, I also tried installing 5.6.0 and the same issue exists on there.

Most of the other URL's work fine on 5.6.1 but the ones specific to my App are not working at all.

Due to the nature of my App I cannot share any information about any of the URL's etc. All I can say is something in the 5.6.x build of proxyman is causing issues with certain URL's.

Environment

  • App version: Proxyman 5.6.x
  • macOS version: Sonoma 14.5
  • iOS Simulator version: 17.5

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the failure on macOS Sonoma 14.5 with iOS Simulator 17.5 in Proxyman 5.6.0 or 5.6.1, then compare it with 5.5.0 using a safe failing request. Done means the affected app's requests decrypt again while currently working URLs remain unaffected.
