I am using Proton Mail Desktop application on a Windows 11 ARM (Snapdragon 12-X core) and I find it painfully slow.
Navigating through emails takes forever. I am forced to open the web most of the time when I do things quick. I can see it is still running x64 cause there is not distribution for ARM64.
On top of that it is using a crazy amount of resources:
I was wondering if there is a way to build the app myself and eventually tweak it to optimize it a little bit.

Research direction
The issue names no source file, test, or build entry point. Start by locating the desktop packaging configuration and Windows architecture targets, then determine whether an ARM64 build can be produced and how navigation and resource usage should be measured; done means a supported ARM64 distribution with verified performance.
