Description
Can be implemented by having a validate function for each datatype
useful to debug calls to write
should be optional to avoid perf issues
examples:
- i8 : check whether input is between -128 and 127
- container : check all fields are present and no additional, check all subtypes

Research direction
Start by inspecting the datatype implementations and the write path to find where optional validation can be added. Define how primitive ranges and container fields/subtypes are checked, then verify that validation is disabled by default and that invalid inputs are reported without affecting normal writes.
