Description

I'm looking to possibly use this to plot out planetary systems that have their data coordinates being on a 2d plane.

In no basic terms a map of this: https://sarna.net/wiki/File:3151_Known_Universe_(Sarna).svg and have the points containing the other semantic information.

Information source (for the map link and also would be used to create the locations): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x9bvFqSb4_or8JbvGj2LnezGkChWxEzRPf5FXvjonHE/edit#gid=763006440

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing the Maps extension's existing map capabilities and the linked Sarna map and spreadsheet to determine whether custom 2D coordinates and semantic point data are supported. Done would require a decided, documented approach or a scoped implementation plan.
