Description

I recently downloaded the Okadia theme with Markup, CSS, C-like, JavaScript and Python languages. Scrolling down the page slows to a halt once you reach the <pre><code> sections. The default theme seemed to work fine. It must be something specific to the Okadia theme.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the slowdown in Safari on the Okadia theme, focusing on pages with

sections, and compare the same page with the default theme. Done means scrolling remains responsive through those sections; the issue does not name a source file or test to inspect.
