Description

I’m trying to forward graphical outputs (x11 graphics) from my main desktop to my surface. My desktop is more powerful and contains more storage but the rdp functionality is too slow to use. I would like the x11 window to be sent directly to the tablet through ssh. I have tried all the normal Linux/Unix modifications to get it to work with no success. If it’s not possible I would like to request it. If it is possible a how to would be nice.

Research direction

Start by checking whether Win32-OpenSSH currently supports X11 forwarding and reproduce the reported SSH workflow between the desktop and Surface. Done means either implementing the requested X11 forwarding capability or documenting that it is unsupported and providing a working how-to if it is already possible.
