Description

Right now there are a bunch of tasks we fire off in PSES that are never awaited, meaning any errors thrown by those tasks are never handled or even logged. We need to add continuation handlers to those tasks to ensure we know about all failures occurring in PSES.

Research direction

The issue names PSES but does not identify files, tests, or task entry points. Start by locating the unawaited tasks in PowerShell Editor Services and review how their failures are currently handled. Done means those tasks have ContinueWith handlers so failures are handled or logged.
