Description
Summary of the new feature / enhancement
We currently use DSC Pull Server that ships with Windows but would like to investigate how we could start using DSC in a new Linux only environment. In this scenario running any Windows pull server will not be possible and sadly neither would using Azure services. Does DSCv3 seek to provide a new cross platform implementation of the Pull Server? If not are there any commitments to supporting any existing open source implementations like Tug?
If this is somewhere that could benefit from user contribution in the near future I would be interested in taking a look.
Proposed technical implementation details (optional)
the ideal would be to run a fully featured Pull server as a container in Kubernetes to replace the need for any Windows VMs.
