Description

i like the to-do list, but when the list is long, it takes up a lot of vertical real estate. i wonder if there's another way to render that -- maybe a popover when you click it, maybe a sidebar?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue. Start by locating the current to-do list UI and how long lists are rendered, then compare the proposed popover and sidebar approaches with the existing UX. Done means a decided and implemented compact presentation that preserves access to the full list.
