Description

Description

See https://posthog.com/docs/cdp/geoip-enrichment#how-do-i-skip-events-without-applying-geoip-enrichment

The same applies to Mobile if you don't want the server to infer the user's IP addresses.

If disableGeoip is enabled, set$geoip_disable: true to the props.

Another option is to disable via project config https://us.posthog.com/project/$projectId/settings/project#datacapture

Or

Research direction

The issue names no Android files or tests. Start with the linked GeoIP documentation and related iOS and Flutter issues, then locate the Android SDK configuration path. Done means supporting disableGeoip so enabled events include $geoip_disable: true without changing other behavior.
