Description
Per the AppKit docs, allowedFileTypes is deprecated. We should use allowedContentTypes if available. I believe I can PR this this weekend.

Research direction
Start by locating the macOS implementation that uses AppKit's deprecated allowedFileTypes API, then read the allowedContentTypes documentation linked in the issue. Update the implementation to use allowedContentTypes when available while preserving the existing behavior for unsupported systems. Done means the deprecated API is no longer used and the macOS dialog still accepts the intended file types.
