Compare the CPS-predicted share of elderly/disabled SNAP households with out-of-pocket medical expenses above $35/month, by state, against the QC file's observed FSMEDEXP claiming share. Validates the medical-documentation intermediate predictor for synthetic caseloads and measures the medical deduction's take-up gap in one pass. Note the DC mechanism split: PE encodes DC's 100%-FPL aged/disabled Medicaid pathway but not its expanded (~300% FPL, no-asset-test) QMB, and coverage→OOP formation is not modeled — CPS-reported MOOP carries that signal empirically at baseline.
