[Legal code](http://webserver.rilin.state.ri.us/Statutes/TITLE44/44-30/44-30-2.6.HTM) specifies $3,500 in 1989 which would amount to over $7,000 in 2022, however the [2022 tax form](https://tax.ri.gov/sites/g/files/xkgbur541/files/2022-12/2022%20Tax%20Rate%20and%20Worksheets.pdf#page=1) has the amount as $4,350
