Support for workflow stages / branches / versions

Today, it's difficult to make changes to an existing workflow, since changing the workflow affects the single, production version of the workflow.

I'd like a way to test changes to a workflow without affecting the production copy. Then, when I've tested my changes, I'd like to merge those changes into the production "branch", deploying the changes to prod.
