Description

When the Stable automation starts, we shouldn't rely on the PID to get to the final value of the DC. We should "jump start" the DC with some known mapping.

Research direction

The issue names the Stable automation and its PID-controlled DC, but no files or tests. First locate that automation and determine the intended baseline mapping and when it should be applied; done means the automation jump-starts DC toward the final value instead of relying solely on PID convergence.
