Description

Checks
  • I have read the FAQ section, searched the open issues, and still think this is a new bug.
Describe the bug you encountered:

In case KeePass is already running, I use fingerprint to unlock it. But today KeePass tries to display the page asking for beer because it is time for Oktoberfest. In this case KeePass doesn't recognize the fingerprint. It blocks the screen and I have to reboot my smartphone! No way to kill the app or get control to my phone.

Describe what you expected to happen:

Normal behavior - fingerprint unlocks KeePass. Obviously KeePass does not read the fingerprint sensor in this special case.

What version of Keepass2Android are you using?

1.11-r0

Which version of Android are you on?

9

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the fingerprint-unlock flow on Android 9 with Keepass2Android 1.11-r0 when the Oktoberfest beer page appears, then trace why the fingerprint is not accepted. Done means fingerprint unlock works normally without blocking the screen or requiring a device reboot.
