Description

Hi,

I've been working on a browser-based version of Path of Building for PoE2 and wanted to reach out since it builds directly on your work.

It runs the full PoB Lua codebase in the browser via WebAssembly. No server-side computation, everything is client-side. The PoB2 repo is included as a git submodule and no Lua code is modified.

What works so far:

  • Build import (paste code or poe.ninja URL) and sharing via short links
  • Interactive passive tree with node allocation, ascendancy, search, and power heatmap
  • Stats, damage breakdown, defence panel
  • Skill/gem management, configuration options
  • Inventory with item tooltips, custom items, and stat impact comparison
  • Mobile-friendly PWA

Code: https://github.com/krauthaufen/pob-web

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Happy to coordinate on attribution, or if there are ways this could be useful to the project.

Thanks for building and maintaining PoB.

Research direction

No repository files, tests, or entry points are named. The issue presents an external browser-based project rather than a defined implementation task; first seek maintainer guidance on whether attribution, coordination, or an integration is wanted. Done is not specified beyond receiving project feedback.
