Putting this here in hopes of helping someone else.
If you get the above message "The account has no characters to import." after logging into the POE2 in Path Of Building, the cause may be as follows:
If you purchased POE2 through Steam (or another platform for that matter), and you create an account on the POE2 website after, you will have 2 accounts on the POE2 website after linking to Steam (or other platform). Make sure that you are logged into the account on the website that has your characters before logging in from Path of Building (POE2).
