Description

Is your feature request related to a problem?

The Recommendations Block currently uses the limit and sort optional parameters. In the future we may want to add more of them as options.

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. Consult the optional parameters page and decide if we want to support more of them.
  2. Add the selected optional parameters in the Block settings sidebar.

Additional context

  • Related to #800 and #822.
  • 28 March 2024: I've updated this post with a valid link to optional parameters, and removed mentions of the boost parameter since it has been deprecated.

Research direction

Start with the Recommendations Block and its settings sidebar, then review the linked optional parameters page and related issues #800 and #822. Determine which parameters are still supported and appropriate as settings; done means the selected options are available in the Block settings without including the deprecated boost parameter.
