Description
In the unlikely event of some catastrophic loss of funds we'll need to perform a negative rebase. It makes sense that everyone who was exposed to upside yield should be exposed to the downside here. It would currently be possible to call rebaseOptOut to avoid the consequences of a negative rebase.

Research direction
Trace the rebaseOptOut handling and negative-rebase logic in the repository to understand how an account can avoid downside exposure. Confirm the intended behavior for accounts that benefited from upside yield, then add coverage showing that opting out cannot bypass a negative rebase.
