Description
Describe the bug
Noticeably increased glossiness in nightly version when the weather is clear.
The ground and weapons from high quality mods like OWR3 start shining too bright.
Stable version of Open Xray 2021 did not have this amount of glossiness nor the original engine.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Start COP or CS
- Wait for clear weather
- Move around and observe
- See ground shining like its wet or reflections on the weapons from OWR3
Expected behavior
Only during rain the glossiness should be at this amount.
Screenshots, videos
It may be hard to notice on the photos but the glossiness during play is drawing out attention. When sun comes out there are very strong pronounced white reflection on weapons and the ground starts looking like a wet shiny plastic. Many modern games do have this kind of a look but it does not feel like the original stalker trilogy.
Photos are taken under the same weather conditions in two different engine versions.

There is a noticeably increased amount of sun light which may be the cause of increased glossiness.

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the issue in COP or CS under clear weather, then compare the referenced builds and commits, focusing on the sunlight, weather, and material-reflection paths. Done means clear-weather ground and weapons no longer have the excessive glossiness reported here.
