Description

I imported an existing OpenVPN profile (from OpenVPN 2.3) into OpenVPN3 (openvpn-connect-3.2.1.1180_signed.msi) on Windows 10. The certificate is configured this way in the profile:

cryptoapicert "SUBJ:user1"

The certificate "user1" from the Yubikey is not imported and can not be selected in the OpenVPN3 GUI.

This bug is probably connected with bug #102.

Research direction

Reproduce the Windows 10 flow using the OpenVPN 2.3 profile, the cryptoapicert "SUBJ:user1" directive, and the Yubikey certificate in the OpenVPN3 GUI. Read bug #102 for related context and verify that the certificate is imported and selectable; the issue is resolved when this works with openvpn-connect-3.2.1.1180_signed.msi.
