Description
Currently, the Fedora packaging for this project includes dependencies that are specific to the GNOME desktop environment. This can result in unnecessary packages being installed for users on other desktops (such as KDE, XFCE, etc.).
It would be great if the Fedora package could be made more desktop-environment agnostic. For example, GNOME-specific integrations or dependencies could be separated into their own optional subpackage, so users only get what they need for their environment.
This would help reduce bloat and improve the experience for everyone, regardless of which desktop environment they choose.
