Description

Expected Behavior

When I reset the controller via controller shortcut which I have assigned (Fn+S1+S2), the display should always restart along and refresh accordingly.

Current Behavior

The display stops responding and doesn't change modes, even if the controller is actually responding as expected. The display is stuck in the last controller mode it was showing.
This is true even if I am in configuration mode.

Context

Please provide all relevant information about your setup. This is important in case the issue is not reproducible
except under certain conditions. Important elements include:

  • 0.7.12
  • Haute42 COSMOX X Series Analog (GP2040-CE_0.7.12_Haute42COSMOXXAnalog.uf2)
  • C-AS
  • Amazon I guess
Steps to Reproduce

Example:
Fn+S1+S2 = works fine
Fn+S1+S2 + hold S1 for configuration = works fine
Fn+S1+S2 = mode changes to controller but display is stuck and won't refresh
Fn+S1+S2 = controller reboots (?) but display doesn't change
Fn+S1+S2 + hold S1 so it will go into config = Config mode works, I can set things up and save and all but the display is still stuck.

This is just one potential pattern. I think any time I reboot via shortcuts this can happen.

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Reproduce on the Haute42 COSMOX X Series Analog setup with GP2040-CE 0.7.12 using the Fn+S1+S2 reset and configuration-mode steps, then trace the controller reset and display-refresh entry points; done means the display changes modes and refreshes after each shortcut reset.
