Describe the issue

The title sequence freezes for around 20-30 seconds on some transitions.

Steps to reproduce

Install the Flatpak version of OpenRCT2: https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.openrct2.OpenRCT2

Run the game, using Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic for the asset files (I haven't tested with RCT2)

Observe first, a long loading time for assets, and second, a 20-30 second freeze in transitions.

I figured the video would probably be too long to upload to github anyways.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Flatpak issue on Linux with RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic assets in a nonstandard RCTC/RCT2 directory, observing the initial load and title-sequence transitions. Compare the behavior across the reported Linux architectures and determine whether the long delays are resolved without regressing game startup or title transitions.
