Description
I don't know whether this should be fixed. I clicked play on the launcher and then the automatic updater started downloading an update, leading to a corrupted install, and I had to exit the game and relaunch. Maybe you could block the play button before checking for an update, but to be safe, maybe only when automatic updates is enabled.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the sequence of clicking Play while the automatic updater begins downloading an update, then inspect the launcher flow that handles Play and automatic updates. Done means Play cannot start during the relevant update check when automatic updates are enabled, avoiding a corrupted installation.
