Description

Information to collect:

  • current date (rounded to the last midnight UTC)
  • server name
  • serverType
  • packet direction: server → client or real client (XKore) → server (no need to collect packets sent by openkore)
  • packet ID

Can be aggregated by packet ID to prevent too big logs and better privacy in case logs are shared.

Can be a plugin.

Research direction

Start by locating the packet handling and plugin entry points in OpenKore, then determine where server name, serverType, direction, packet ID, and the UTC date are available. Decide how packet IDs should be aggregated and how collected data can be shared without exposing unnecessary details. Done means a plugin or equivalent implementation records the requested statistics while excluding packets sent by OpenKore.
