Description

Currently, multiple edges between the same nodes would be exactly overlapping, and selection of one of them would not be possible. Additionally, the mappings of nodes to edges in GraphDrawing assume a unique edge. These things should be fixed to allow multigraphs to be visualized.

Research direction

Start by locating the network-visualization code and the GraphDrawing class mentioned in the issue. Trace how parallel edges are positioned, selected, and mapped from nodes to edges. Done means multiple edges between the same nodes can be displayed without exact overlap, selected individually, and represented correctly by GraphDrawing.
