Research direction
Start by locating the existing LigandAtomMapping class and the ProteinComponents type, then inspect how current mapping subclasses are tested. Done means a ProteinMapping subclass specifically supports protein-protein mapping without requiring users to use LigandAtomMapping, with tests covering the new behavior.
