Description
The panel currently looks like this:
When I click an input under Existing, it changes to this:
The tabs along the top have vanished. I can go back by clicking the cross on that blue bar. It's a little weird.
Really I'd expect that the tabs are always visible, and when I select an input under existing I don't totally lose my context.
Maybe we can put a Tick mark on the selected input, and maybe there are options like: hovering over the card will show at tooltip with the code, or I can click a "view" button to open the data out into a full tab.

Research direction
Start at the Manual Runs panel and reproduce selecting an input under Existing, using the issue screenshots as the visual reference. Trace what happens to the tabs and context after selection; done means the tabs remain visible and the selected input can be identified without leaving the current context.
