Description
The big question is: How do we inform users that a new version of an adaptor used in their workflow has been released?
Today, we don't want to automatically upgrade the version of the adaptor in a workflow because the new version might introduce changes that could break runs.
The solution here will be:
- An email to project admins and owners that there is a new version of an adaptor that is used in workflow X,Y,Z of project 123.
- Adding visual clues on the app that alert the user about the new adaptor
The emails and alerts should have a link to the documentation - sharing the changes and what users to look out for when adopting the adaptor.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Start by locating how adaptor versions are tracked in workflows and how project owners and admins currently receive email or in-app alerts. Done means the scope and design for both notification paths, including links to adaptor-change documentation, are agreed and implemented.
