Description

The inspector view works well for large/high-resolution displays but it's a pain for small laptop screens. We don't need to support mobile yet, but this view should scale well for smaller/older/lower-res screens.

Smaller fonts?
Less margin/padding?
Resizable panes?
Ellipses and tooltips?
What else?

Research direction

Start with the inspector view at smaller laptop and lower-resolution display sizes, documenting where the layout becomes difficult to use. Define the responsive behavior and acceptance criteria before changing fonts, spacing, panes, or truncated content; done means the view scales well on small screens without requiring mobile support.
