Description

not sure i this is a worker or runtime issue

But if you throw { hello: 'world' }` from a step, you don't get a nice error message. It'll just say "JobError: unknown"

To investigate and maybe fix

Research direction

Start by reproducing a step that throws { hello: 'world' } and compare the worker and runtime handling paths. Investigate where the JobError: unknown message is produced; done means thrown objects produce a useful error message instead of the generic text.
