Description
Request
We need a new Adaptor for iTrent so that we can support the Offboarding flow for Hackney Council.
We want to build a basic adaptor to integrate with the REST API for iTrent, which allows users to update user access in iTrent.
To start, this adaptor should:
- handle authentication
- include a generic GET helper so we can get any resource
- make it easy to search for particular records and return results in JSON
Credentials
- Login credentials: Not yet
- Test record(s): ?
- Authentication method(s): Unsure, but will involve SOAP APIs and complex Webhook calls
Sample Code
Not yet
Resources
Have requested access from Public.io team - speak to Jack to view the files in screenshot below, which can't yet be downloaded. Which do we need?

Research direction
No repository files, tests, credentials, sample code, or test records are named. Start by obtaining the iTrent resources and authentication details from the Public.io team or Jack, then define the adaptor entry point around authentication, a generic GET helper, and record search returning JSON. Done means those three capabilities can be tested against iTrent.
