Description

Fully functional means it is:

  • reproducible across users,
  • up-to-date and
  • consistent across runs
  • properly installed and tested on respective HPC

The setup details:
GitHub
Dedicated branch name for training run
Dedicated commits for each job/restart
Framework
Container versioning
Other Python packages versioning (uv, pip, conda, pixi, etc.)
Document NCCL and CUDA version of HPC
Model config is up-to-date and tested
Submodules are synced correctly
