Description

Description of the issue

We recently introduced and continue to work on the first version of our privacy data friendly evaluation of statistics and indicators about the usage and activity of the oeplatform. Since the OEP can be run by others and since we require a deterministic infrastructure setup, we should add any developments in this area to the stack by defining the requirements in the Podman Compose & quadlets as well as the docker compose setup.

Ideas of solution

  • Evaluate adding containers / Update container definition files with extra steps. Anything that enables to "run" monitoring.
  • Evaluate: Do we need extra containers with access to other containers? (How do we do that securely?)
  • Where are the metrics stored? And how to modify that location when setting up the container, modifying existing ones for monitoring and KPI retrieval.
