Description
Description of the issue
Should the Database section have a dedicated overview page?
Description
Currently, the Database section consists of several separate entry points:
-
Database
-
Add Dataset
However, the relationship between these functions may not be immediately clear to users. A dedicated overview page, similar to the existing Ontology overview, could:
-
Introduce the Database section and its purpose
-
Explain the difference between browsing data, adding a dataset, and creating a table
-
Help users choose the appropriate action
-
Provide a common landing page for Database-related links across the platform
This would also be useful for links on the homepage and in other parts of the platform, as they could point to a central Database overview instead of directly linking to one specific function.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing Database and Ontology entry points to understand their current navigation and purpose. Define the overview content around browsing data, adding a dataset, and creating a table, then verify that Database-related links can use it as a common landing page.
