Description

The current Patina stable toolchain declaration is Rust 1.95.0, but the default alloc feature still enables the unstable allocator_api feature. This blocks moving patina_boot, patina_sre, and related UEFI crates to stable Rust without an upstream-compatible refactor.

Track the required Patina compatibility work, then migrate the remaining UEFI crates from nightly in a coordinated follow-up.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Patina stable toolchain declaration and the default alloc feature that enables allocator_api. Then map the compatibility work for patina_boot, patina_sre, and the related UEFI crates; completion requires documenting the required upstream-compatible refactor and coordinating their migration from nightly.
