Description

Missing a mechanism to swap underlying pins<->buses and pins<->functions at runtime, at an architectural level

Context: Need a method to read board ID and then initialize various peripherals accordingly. Static compilation methods (currently used) are insufficient as they do not offer an existing path for dynamic selection of instances (due to typing).

Cannot simply use Flex<> as this is RT6 specific, need an IO abstraction that isn't tied to generics so that it can be used as a dynamic trait object.
