Description

Discussed in https://github.com/OpenDDS/OpenDDS/discussions/4870

To Reproduce

  1. Build OpenDDS with java support.
  2. Build the attached archive. opendds_mwc.pl && make.
  3. The jar file will be empty.

If you execute opendds_mwc.pl && make again, then the java files will be pulled into the build.

Thus, there is a bug in MPC or in the mpc file.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with the attached test.tar.gz archive, building OpenDDS with Java support, then running opendds_mwc.pl && make and inspecting the resulting jar. Read the MPC or mpc-file build logic implicated by the reproduction; done means the Java files are included on the first build without rerunning the command.
