Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in the timeline UI on Windows 11 with Chrome 138: drop a clip to create two video components, then scroll to the bottom. Trace how the left timeline and main timeline handle vertical scrolling; done means their scroll positions remain synchronized throughout the full range.
