Description

Platform

Mac OS 15.4.1 (24E263)

Browser

Arc Version 1.104.0 (Chromium 138.0.7204.158)

Current Behavior

There is a dead zone on the Timeline that doesn't allow me to move the playhead when clicking. This makes the Timeline feel buggy instead of super responsive

Expected Behavior

Playhead should move to the location I click within this area

Recurrence Probability

Always

Steps To Reproduce

Click in the area between the Timeline ticker and the topmost track (see screen recording for reference)

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on the Timeline using the provided platform, browser, steps, and screen recording. Inspect the Timeline entry point and the area between the ticker and topmost track; done means clicking anywhere in that area moves the playhead consistently.
