Description

Problem

Why it's Important:

A Chinese README significantly expands Opencut's potential user base, especially in Chinese-speaking regions. It lowers the barrier to entry for developers not fully proficient in English, making the tool more approachable. This increased accessibility can lead to higher adoption rates and more contributions (bug reports, feature requests, code) from a diverse set of users.

Benefits for Opencut:

Adding a Chinese README will boost Opencut's visibility, increase downloads and usage, and foster a richer feedback loop. It demonstrates inclusivity and professionalism, potentially leading to the growth of a dedicated Chinese-speaking community and localized support.

Solution

In the following, I have attached the README-zh.md, and the modified version for the English version to realize changes between languages.

README-zh.md

README.md

Alternative

One of the option is not taking changes, but not recommended

Research direction

Start by reviewing the attached README-zh.md and modified README.md, then compare them with the repository's existing README files. Add the Chinese README and apply the proposed English README changes, keeping the two versions aligned and confirming that the documentation is complete and usable.
