Description

Would it be possible to add an API to indicate an account is no longer active and will not accept any more transaction requests. This may be because the customer has closed it or an authority has requested that it be frozen.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing account and transaction APIs to determine where account status and transaction acceptance are represented. Clarify the required freeze, close, and deactivate states, their permissions and transitions, and the API responses expected when transactions are rejected. Done means the states and behavior are specified and covered by the relevant API tests.
