Description

VoxCPM version: 2.0.2

Description

When generating speech in Polish, the voice occasionally cuts off abruptly at the end of a word. The final syllable or consonant is truncated, making the output sound unnatural. This happens with default generation parameters.

Examples of affected words observed during testing:

  • znowu — cut off after zno-
  • kantynie — cut off after kanty-

The issue appears randomly across different segments, not consistently on the same words.

Any suggestion to fix this or workaround? Some time word ends with comma, some time dot

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with VoxCPM 2.0.2 using the default generation parameters and the Polish examples “znowu” and “kantynie.” Compare outputs across segments and punctuation; done means identifying a reproducible cause and preventing the final syllable or consonant from being truncated, or documenting a confirmed workaround.
